to make the window look simpler.. we can make by running smplayer in minigui. use this command to accomplish what we need.smplayer -minigui %U
to make this update to the file options open a video file > right click on it > choose properties > choose: edit file type "icon" > in "Application preference order" choose SMPlayer > click Edit.
from the "application" tab add -minigui options so that it will become like this :
smplayer -minigui %U
and then click OK 3x... that's it..
now enjoy SMPlayer with simple gui.. ;-)
